AUGUST 28, 2011 • Artists, vineyards and gourmet delights from around the region converge on Church Street for the first annual Wine & Art Festival on Saturday, September 24. The district is currently accepting applications from area artists to take part in this innaugural event. The categories include painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, pottery, glassworks, and jewelry.
The Wine & Art Festival is sponsored by WMMO and the District. The event will be advertised in print and heavily advertised on four local radio stations. Projected attendance is from 2500 to 3500. Spaces are 10x10 with each artist supplying his or her own tent. The artist fee is $40.
